JOHN H. RUSSELL

Of Lewiston, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. He was born on July 24,1937 in Toronto, Ontario, the son of the late William and Catherine (Morten) Russell.

Mr. Russell had been Vice President and General Manager of Precious Plate, Inc of Niagara Falls, New York.  

He was the husband of 29 years to the late Patricia A. (Kelleher) Russell who passed away on March 4, 2022. He is survived by his children: Karen (Dave) Anderson, Glen (Tracey) Russell, Steven (Khristine) Russell, Daniel (Lori) Cantara, Denise (late Dale) Stevens, Jacqueline (Charles) Lakeman and Scott Cantara. He was the brother of Celia (late Fern) Tremblett, the late Kathleen (Vic) Dunbar, the late Lillian (Jack) Clark and the late William (Molly) Russell. In addition, he is survived by seventeen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life honoring John will be held Thursday, April 2nd from 5-8PM at the Niagara Falls Country Club, 505 Mountain View Drive, Lewiston, NY  14092.

Memorials may be made in his name to Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, New York.
