Pierce Robinson Jr. transitioned from this earthly world on February 21, 2026, at 3:39 a.m., surrounded by love in the presence of his devoted daughter, Ebony Owens, and her beloved mother, Annie Owens. Pierce was born on September 16, 1951, in Sanford, Florida, to the late Lula Mae Robinson and Pierce Robinson Sr.
He attended local schools in Sanford, where he developed a lifelong love for sports. In 1975, he relocated to Niagara Falls, New York, where he built both a career and a legacy. He worked for Union Carbide, Cascade, and several local security agencies. During this time, he became the proud father of two cherished children, Lenard Riley and Ebony Owens.
Pierce truly loved life. He was an exceptional pool player who held and won several championship titles, earning recognition as one of the finest 8-ball shooters in his circle. He enjoyed watching football, basketball, and boxing, and he never missed an opportunity to share his wisdom, stories, and life lessons with those around him.
Above all, Pierce treasured his daughter Ebony, their bond was unbreakable. He was equally proud of his accomplished son, Lenard, and he adored his two granddaughters, Alexis Riley and Nicole Riley.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Mae Robinson; his father, Pierce Robinson Sr.; and his brother, Donald Robinson.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving children, Lenard (Anna) Riley and Ebony Owens; his granddaughters, Alexis Riley and Nicole Riley; and his siblings: Lewis Robinson of Cheshire, CT; Leonard Robinson (Pat) of Sanford, FL; Richard Robinson (Wylette) of Winter Park, FL; Darryl Robinson (Delilah) of Lehigh Acres, FL; Guy Robinson (Renee) of Sanford, FL; Jimmy Oliver (Cynthia) of Meriden, CT; Barbara Robinson of Sanford, FL; Gail Chisolm (Ben) of Sanford, FL; and Pamela M. Pierce will be forever remembered for his strength, his wisdom, his competitive spirit, and the love he gave so freely.
